Products Description
The GYTC8S is a standard outdoor fiber optic cable that stands on its own. It is ideal for aerial use due
to its excellent moisture and crush resistance, which also fits it for duct and buried installations. The
cable's structure includes a figure-eight metallic strength member made of stranded wires, covered
with polyethylene. It is armored with a corrugated steel tape and a polyethylene sheath for crush and
bullet resistance. The cable's tensile strength is enhanced by a central steel-wire strength member, with
a loose tube and water-blocking system for additional protection.
