GYXTC8S Fiber Optic Cable Self Supporting With Stranded Steel

The GYXTC8S cable is designed with a 250μm fiber core, encased in a flexible tube made from a

material with high rigidity and infused with a gel that repels water. This tube is then wrapped with a

plastic-coated steel tape (PSP) that runs the length of the cable. A water-blocking substance is

interspersed between the steel tape and the tube to ensure the cable is watertight and prevents water

from traveling longitudinally. Additionally, the cable includes an 8-shaped steel strand, all of which is

encapsulated in a polyethylene sheath.
