For the GYXTC8S cable, a 250μm fiber is inserted into a tube that is both loose and made of a material

with a high modulus of elasticity, and this tube is filled with a gel that is resistant to water. The tube is

then covered with a steel strip that has plastic coating on both sides (PSP), which is oriented in a

longitudinal direction. A water-blocking substance is added between this steel strip and the tube to ensure

that the cable is compact and can block water from moving in the longitudinal direction. The cable also

contains a steel strand that is woven into an 8-shaped pattern, all wrapped in a polyethylene sheath.
