All-Dielectric Self-Supporting (ADSS) fiber-optic cables are self-sufficient for installation, eliminating the need for a separate messenger wire or support system. They feature a central conduit containing optical fibers, surrounded by aramid fiber layers and an outer protective jacket. The entirely dielectric construction makes them ideal for installation in areas with significant electrical interference, such as near power lines.
