96 Core ADSS Fiber Optic Cable Single-Mode Aerial Installation

ADSS cable is made of non-metallic material and self-supporting with the aerial power transmission line. The tension resistance material is aramid yarn with high elasticity modules, enabling the cable to withstand:

• Large tension during installation (Max. span: 1500m)
• Ice load (Max. ice thickness: ≥20mm)
• Wind pressure (Max. wind speed: 35m/s)

ADSS cable features loose tube stranded construction. Fibers are positioned into a loose tube made of high modulus plastics, filled with water-resistant compound. The tubes are stranded around FRP (Fibre Reinforced Plastic) central strength member, forming a compact cable core. After filling with compound, it's covered with PE inner sheath, reinforced with two layers of Aramid yarns, and completed with PE or AT (anti-tracking) outer sheath.

• Construction: Single outer jacket layer
• Weight: Lighter than double sheath variants
• Applications: Environments with lower risk of mechanical damage
• Cost: More cost-effective due to less material usage
• Protection: Sufficient against UV rays, moisture, and minor abrasions

• Construction: Two layers of sheathing (inner and outer jacket)
• Protection: Enhanced mechanical protection for harsher environments
• Durability: Resistant to abrasion, rodents, and physical damage
• Applications: Areas with higher mechanical stress or severe weather
• Weight/Cost: Heavier and more expensive than single sheath
