The GYXTC8S type cable incorporates a 250μm optical fiber encased within a slack tube crafted from high-strength material, saturated with hydrophobic gel. The tube is enveloped with longitudinally running steel tape (PSP) with water-blocking substance between layers. Features a steel strand in octagonal configuration within polyethylene jacket.
