The GYFTY-G optical fiber cable features 250µm fibers positioned in a loose tube made of high modulus material, filled with waterproof compound. The cable core centers around a metallic Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) strength member, with some variants including an additional polyethylene (PE) layer. Tubes are stranded around this central core to form a compact, circular structure, with water-blocking fillers in gaps and a PE inner sheath. The cable is completed with glass yarn coverage and a PE outer sheath.
These Loose Tube Single Jacket All Dielectric cables are lightweight with small diameter, designed for duct and aerial (lashed) installation.
