The GYFTY fiber optic cable features 250μm optical fibers encased in high-modulus loose tubes filled with waterproof compounds. A fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) rod serves as the central strength member, with loose tubes and filler strands twisted around it to form a compact, round cable core. The gaps are filled with water-blocking material, and the cable is completed with an outer polyethylene sheath.
This cable offers exceptional mechanical performance and temperature resilience, with strong hydrolysis resistance for long-term reliability. Its compact design prevents tube shrinkage, while the PE sheath provides superior UV and radiation protection, making it ideal for outdoor applications.
